The Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club is a private, non-equity, social and athletic club designed to meet the needs of members and their guests in an active, vibrant, all-inclusive community. The Club’s base-area clubhouse and facilities provide the utmost in comfort and service. Year-round programming celebrates members’ passion for outdoor adventure, showcasing the mountains and valleys of Mammoth Lakes across all four seasons.
The Club is offering three categories of membership: Founder, Platinum and Gold.
The Club is limited to a total of 187 family memberships across Founder, Platinum, and Gold categories. Only 20 Founder Memberships will be issued. This ensures a boutique environment and a highly coveted experience.
No. Many members join through friends or associates, but a referral is not required. Contact our membership team to have your questions answered and explore whether membership is the right fit for you or your family.
Yes. Your spouse and unmarried children under the age of 24 all have the same privileges as the primary member.
A refundable membership deposit is required for the category you select. Deposits are refundable at the end of 30 years from joining, or sooner upon resignation and reissuance of the membership. A 10% transfer fee applies to resigned or replaced memberships. Members are also responsible for annual dues, which for 2026 are $8,695 for Residential, Founding, and Platinum memberships, and $4,637 for Gold memberships. Annual dues are subject to standard yearly increases.
To resign, members simply notify the Club in writing. Once the Club reissues the resigned membership or replaces a Founder membership with a Platinum membership, the departing member receives their deposit refund as specified in the Membership Plan. Members remain in good standing and enjoy all facilities and programming until the membership is reissued or replaced.
Yes. Immediate family (spouse and unmarried children under 24) are considered members. Family members age 16 and older may use the clubhouse unaccompanied and bring guests following the same guidelines that apply to all members.
Memberships that include parking (Founder and Platinum) allow valet service for one vehicle at a time, with the appropriate parking hang tag displayed at all times.
The Club only offers family memberships, but a single person may acquire a membership in any available category.
The Club encourages members to share their experience with friends and family. Founding Platinum members receive 20 guest passes, ideal for gatherings and celebrations, letting them share the Sierra experience with loved ones. Platinum and Gold members receive 5 guest passes, giving friends and associates a chance to enjoy the club and the limelight scene alongside you.
All members and dependents age 16 and older may bring up to four guests at a time. A member must always accompany their guests, and each guest may use the Club no more than four times per year.
Yes. Each membership includes a private family locker in the clubhouse, with boot dryers and ample storage for boots, helmets, and gear. Valet service handles up to four pairs of skis or boards. Guest lockers are limited and may be available for daily rental..
It is approximately a two-minute walk from the Club to the Village Gondola.
All members have access to Parallax, a private dining restaurant on Mammoth Mountain. Members also enjoy exclusive programming, including private wine dinners, guided excursions, and weekly ski tours. Priority lift line privileges are available for purchase, allowing members to board the first chair or gondola without waiting. This benefit is not available to the public.
